It’s one thing to schedule a big festival, and another to re-schedule a big festival during a pandemic. Between lockdowns, concerns for audience safety, changes to venue capacities, and, most of all, artist availability, we’re sad to say that we have lost more than half of this year’s programme. Some events are postponed and will return in 2022; many are cancelled for now. Here’s a list of everything that’s gone, as a reminder of the hard work our writers, speakers and staff put into each one.
You can still support the festival by coming to our remaining events, buying livestream tickets if you can’t make it in person, or making a donation. And you can still support our writers by buying their books and spreading the word about their work.
