WORD Christchurch makes every effort to ensure our events are accessible to all members of the community.

Booking Access Tickets

If you have any access requirements, the best way to book tickets is to contact the WORD Christchurch office directly on 03 377 5313 or email ticketing@wordchristchurch.co.nz.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS

All WORD Christchurch Festival venues have wheelchair access except for some venues on New Regent Street for the New Regent Street Pop-Up.

TOILETS

The Piano, Christchurch Art Gallery and Tūranga all have accessible toilets and also access to gender-neutral toilets.

Vision

ASSISTANCE ANIMALS

Guide Dogs are welcome at all Festival events and venues.

Hearing

ASSISTIVE LISTENING SYSTEM

The Piano and the Christchurch Art Gallery both have an induction hearing loop system or FM radio system available.

If you require accessible seating, please email ticketing@wordchristchurch.co.nz or call (03) 377 5313. Audience members requiring this service are seated in the section closest to the interpreter to ensure good sightlines.
